Stars and cars go hand in hand. The super-rich soccer players of today have extravagant car collections. David Beckham is certainly no exception; the Beckham car collection has included the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Aston Martin, Porsche and the now requisite Hummer.
In the early days of his career in Manchester he drove a BMW M3. But Beckham’s car collection advanced rapidly as did his soccer reputation. In 2005 he famously turned down an offer of a free Ferrari from Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo, Beckham’s reason being that he already had one. Here are some more cars that David Beckham has had, or still has, in his collection.
David Beckham & Bentley
In 2003 Beckham went to Buckingham Palace to pick up his OBE from the Queen. He went in his $312,000 (£166,000) Bentley Arnage. Beckham had his Bentley fitted with an expensive array of extras. These include vanity mirrors mounted on the roof, an Alpine stereo system with sub-woofers, and leather child seats embroidered with his son’s name, Brooklyn.
